Time’s up! Last Friday was the deadline to apply for a position in one of the 18 projects that will be part of ForMovFluid. Over the next four years, the selected candidates will enjoy a unique experience: developing their career as PhDs within a prestigious network of scientists, under the mentorship of recognised experts in their fields.
We would like to thank everyone who showed interest in this project: we received 342 applications! A total of 245 candidates from 56 different countries took part in this highly competitive selection process. This shows not only the potential of a project like ForMovFluid, but also that geological research is as alive and dynamic as our planet!
Now it is time to evaluate all the interesting profiles we have received and to choose the researchers who will carry out their work within the framework of this project.
Stay tuned!
ABOUT FORMOVFLUID
ForMovFluid is a Doctoral Network (DN) project developed under the framework of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), which focuses on understanding the formation, movement and interaction of aqueous fluids in the Earth’s upper crust. The main objective of this network is to train experts with a multidisciplinary approach, able to deal with the needs of the emerging energy transition by taking advantage of precious resources — such as critical raw materials — available within the boundaries of the European Union.
We count with € 5 million in funding thanks to the European Commission and UK Research and Innovation.
